Pediatric and Adolescent
Community Advisory Boards (CAB)

Members of the Community Advisory Board (CAB) include parents/caregivers of HIV-infected children, HIV health care workers and other interested people in the community. The CAB seeks input and feedback regarding clinic operations and patient's needs that will improve services and research for all HIV affected patients at Children's Memorial Hospital.

The CAB meets six times a year to:

  • Discuss improvements for the program's services
  • Help in implementing new pediatric, adolescent and perinatal research
  • Review HIV education materials used in the community
  • Assess the effectiveness of Children's Memorial's HIV/AIDS program

A newly formed Adolescent CAB is addressing similar issues that are specific to teens with HIV/AIDS.

Please call Jamie Kinder at 773.880.3685 or jkinder@childrensmemorial.org for more information about becoming a member of either the Pediatric or Adolescent CAB, or attending the next meeting.
