The Department of Surgery presents Surgical Grand Rounds each Monday morning from 7:30-8:30 a.m. in Bigler Auditorium. Surgical Grand Rounds comprises the following conferences:
- Surgical Grand Rounds (1st and 4th Monday of each month): Staff surgeons or affiliated physicians discuss their area of specialty, research, or other topics.
- Trauma Rounds (2nd Monday of each month): Staff surgeons or affiliated physicians present trauma cases or trauma-related topics.
- Clinical Case Review (3rd Monday of each month): Surgical divisions present morbidity & mortality cases.
Continuing Medical Education (CME) credit is offered for all Surgical Grand Rounds conferences through Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine.
